Primary Therapies

Primary Therapies are treatments with stronger clinical evidence and are often prescribed or recommended by specialists. They directly target the physiological mechanisms of POTS:

  • Pharmacological: Midodrine, beta-blockers, fludrocortisone, droxidopa, etc.
  • Non-pharmacological: IV saline, compression garments, structured exercise, high-sodium diet.

These are typically ranked in effectiveness based on clinical trials and patient outcomes.
